Brief

Teaming up with Airbnb's in-house team, I took on the task of breathing life into the social dimension of their captivating Wishlist campaign. This endeavor was a full-blown journey across web, social media, and email landscapes.
Airbnb enlisted the creative prowess of Mads Berg and Yukiko Noritakee, summoning their talents to craft digital illustrations that captured the essence of the great outdoors. After an array of motion trials, testing, and meticulous revisions, we finally arrived at a breathtaking destination.
These intricate digital masterpieces, a collaboration between two exceptional artists, landed on my desk, and my mission was to inject them with animation, sound, and captivating copy. But trust me; this was no walk in the park. The real deal was tackling the challenge of transforming these sprawling, densely detailed vector artworks into animated wonders.
The heartbeat of this social crusade? To spread the word and steer traffic towards Airbnb's wishlist realm. We aimed to spark curiosity, ignite engagement, and have users crafting their own wishlists.
This spectacular social symphony took the stage on some prime platforms – Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter, each serving as a vibrant canvas for our creative narrative. The goal was simple yet profound: fuel inspiration, drive participation, and let the world in on Airbnb's captivating wishlist universe.
