Meet Mahmoud Karim Fawzy, also known as fawzybear, a seasoned freelance motion designer with 9 years of experience based in Brooklyn, New York. He possesses a deep passion for creativity and problem-solving, evident in his diverse skillset that encompasses graphic design, art direction, animation, video production, photography, post-production, advertising, and social media. This wide range of abilities allows him to bring a unique perspective to each project he takes on.
Having grown up in the culturally rich city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mahmoud draws inspiration from the vibrant flavors and diverse cultures surrounding him throughout his life. His journey led him to Minnesota for high school and then to San Francisco for college, where he gained valuable experience working in the advertising industry for four years, collaborating with some of the world's largest brands such as Comcast, Adobe, and Frito Lay.For the past six years, Mahmoud has been thriving as a freelancer, infusing his work with his love for art and design on projects for Netflix, Google, Square, Nike,and Airbnb.
Outside his motion endveros, you can find him designing shoes and clothing, creating posters, logos, pottery, or jewelry. His passion shines through in everything he does. He finds constant inspiration in the world around him and enjoys translating various cultures into his designs.
